Plans

Two plans. One ledger. Enterprise on demand.

Each tier shares the same line-item ledger and the same DEFRA / BAFU / IEA factor library. The differences are line-item allowance, multi-entity support, and the controls procurement teams ask for. Auditor invitation is free on every tier.

Allowance

Line-item count tells you which plan fits.

cobank counts what's ingested into the ledger, not what you upload — typically six to eight rows per Swiss invoice. Surcharges, taxes, and fees count too, but classify as zero-emission supporting lines. The slider above maps your year onto the four rungs below.

0 – 500 lines / yr
CHF 49/ month

Starter. Sole proprietors, very small companies, one-off VSME submission.

500 – 3'000 lines / yr
CHF 179/ month

Growth. Most Swiss SMEs filing recurring VSME or bank climate-risk data.

3'000 – ~10'000 lines / yr
CHF 179+ overage

Growth + metered overage at CHF 0.06 / line. No tier change required.

10'000+ lines / yr or multi-entity

Enterprise. Multi-entity consolidation, SSO, signed DPA. Contract band CHF 30k – 150k ARR.

Why the auditor is free

Cheaper to run. And cheaper to audit.

Your audit firm logs into cobank for free, samples from a closed reporting period, and exports a hash-chained evidence pack — without re-walking PDFs and re-entering factors into Excel. The line-item ledger does the work the auditor would otherwise pay-by-the-hour to do. We earn more when you ingest more lines; we don't earn anything when your audit firm spends three weeks instead of three days.

Manual review
~40 hours
cobank workpapers
~6 – 10 hours
Range modelled from ISA 530 sample-selection guidance for a 1'000-line voluntary VSME engagement. cobank reduces audit-firm time by exposing line items as workpapers, hash-chaining evidence, and exporting a sealed evidence package per period. Your fee depends on your audit firm and engagement scope.
Compare plans

Every line, every plan, in one table.

The ledger and the factor library are on every plan. Enterprise unlocks multi-entity consolidation, SSO, signed DPA, and the auditor workpaper surface — the things procurement and assurance review actually ask for.

Add-ons

Two add-ons. One roadmap card.

Most companies don't need any of these. Two are real Enterprise add-ons available today; the third is a roadmap pin for ERP connectors beyond Bexio. We deliberately don't ship a long add-on menu — every line on the cobank price sheet is a line we can support and audit.

Ecoinvent factor library
Pass-through + 20% margin

Some sectors and some auditors require ecoinvent. We integrate it on request, license per-customer, and pass through the cost. Our default methodology — DEFRA, BAFU, IEA — is what large Swiss corporates such as Novartis, Swisscom, and ABB cite in their published reports, so most companies don't need this layer.

Override mode accepts your own curated factor set as CSV or Excel. Versioned and bound to line items at calc time. Your methodology stays yours; cobank provides the ledger, the hash chain, and the audit trail around it.

Common questions

Honest answers to the questions we hear most.

Don't see yours? Email hello@cobank.ai — your message is read by a human, usually within a business day.

One row on one invoice. A typical electricity bill has one line; an office-supply order from Galaxus might have eight. cobank counts what is ingested into the ledger, not what you upload — re-uploaded duplicates do not double-count. Surcharges, taxes, and fees still count, but classify as zero-emission supporting lines.
The line item is what the ledger measures, what an auditor tests, and what CO₂e is calculated against. Pricing by users punishes teams that share the work. Pricing by invoice punishes companies with dense line-item invoices. The line item is the atomic unit of value, and a meter we can defend in an audit.
Additional lines are metered at the tier's per-line rate — CHF 0.09 on Starter, CHF 0.06 on Growth — and invoiced the following month. Live usage is visible inside the app and a notice fires at 80% of allowance.
Full product access on either Starter or Growth, no card required. At trial end you either add payment to continue or your account pauses read-only. Nothing is charged unless you convert. Annual plans skip the trial and ship one month free — pay for ten, get twelve.
DEFRA 2025 (UK government, commercially redistributable), BAFU (Switzerland, pending licence clarification), and IEA grid factors for Scope 2. Each line item is bound to the factor version current at the invoice date, so historical reports stay reproducible. Ecoinvent is available as an Enterprise add-on for customers whose audit firm requires it.
Yes, on every tier. Auditors receive free read-access to closed reporting periods via an engagement invitation. You control which period and which entities they see. The reasonable-assurance workpaper surface — risk-based sampling, hash-chained evidence pack, ISA 530 sample selection — sits on the Enterprise plan; limited-assurance review is supported on Starter and Growth.
In Swiss data centres by default. Encryption at rest is AES-256, in transit is TLS 1.3. Row-level security isolates each workspace's data. EU data residency and a signed DPA (GDPR Art. 28) are available on the Enterprise plan.
Under EU Omnibus I (Directive 2026/470, in force 18 March 2026), CSRD applies to companies exceeding both 1'000 employees and €450M turnover. Most Swiss SMEs are not in mandatory scope — but EU customers, your bank, or a procurement process may still ask for VSME-aligned data. See the methodology for what cobank files against.
